The 2018 Château Camensac is a dry red wine and a designated 5ème Grand Cru Classé from the Haut-Médoc appellation in Bordeaux. Sourced from deep, fine gravel soils on a limestone substrate, this vintage is crafted from an equal blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The estate practices sustainable viticulture and holds an HVE certification.
Harvested by hand, the grapes undergo traditional vinification including destemming, crushing, and a three week maceration period. The wine is then aged for 14 to 18 months in French oak barrels, with 60% being new oak. This careful process results in a wine that embodies the structure and elegance typical of the region.
