Description

Bratanov Mavrud 2024 is a red wine from Shishmanovo Vineyards in Sakar, Thracian Lowlands, made from 100% Mavrud from organically certified estate vineyards. The grapes are hand-picked and wild-fermented in stainless steel, then aged for 7 months in stainless steel vessels and 6 months in bottle, with no oak.

The color is ruby, and the aroma reveals blueberry, wild strawberry, and rosehip, with herbal and slightly spicy nuances. The taste is medium-bodied, with fine tannins and a fresh, balanced finish.

Serve at 12–14°C and pair with vegetarian dishes, light meats, cheeses, and foie gras with apples. The wine is unfiltered and limited to 2100 bottles.
