Borovitza Gamza Granny 2022 is a terroir red wine from Northwestern Bulgaria, created by Borovitza Winery near the Belogradchik Rocks. The winery works with low intervention and small batches, focusing on local varieties.

The Gamza grapes are from the area of Gratska Bucha village, at about 300 m above sea level, on calcareous-sandy soils with good drainage. The cool climate and long growing season emphasize the finesse and aromaticity of the variety.

Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at controlled temperatures, with a short aging period without oak influence, to preserve the fresh fruity style. The wine has red cherry, plum, dried flowers, and herbal nuances, a light to medium body, velvety tannins, and a fresh, slightly spicy finish. Aging potential up to 4 years.
