Description

Dalakov Kvevri Nebbiolo 2022 is a red "garage" wine made from 100% Nebbiolo, produced by Better Half Garage Wines in Zmeevo village, Bulgaria, with an alcohol content of 13.5% and a 0.75 L bottle. The vineyards are located in a region with a moderate continental climate and rocky-clay soils, which support slow ripening and the development of a complex aromatic profile.

Grapes are hand-picked and carefully selected, fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature with prolonged maceration to extract structure and aromas. The wine ages in small oak vessels for tannin integration and additional complexity.

The aroma is complex with notes of sour cherry, raspberry, dried rose, spices, tobacco, and a slight earthy nuance. The taste has a medium to full body, elegant tannins, good acidity, and a long, fresh, and mineral finish.

Serve at 16–18°C and pairs excellent with lamb, veal, dishes with mushrooms and truffles, aged cheeses, and slow-roasted meats.
