Sintika Synthi Reserva 2022 is a boutique blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Cabernet Franc from the Sandanski region. Produced with minimal intervention and hand-picked grapes, the wine reflects the natural character of the terroir at the foot of Pirin.
The grapes ferment separately, after which the wine ages for 12 months in Bulgarian and French oak barrels and is not filtered to preserve its richness. The color is deep crimson with garnet hues.
The aroma is complex, with notes of ripe plum, blackcurrant, dark chocolate, leather, and spices. The taste is full-bodied and powerful, with well-integrated tannins and a long, warm finish with nuances of oak and vanilla. Suitable for beef, lamb, game, and aged cheeses. Serve at 16–18°C, with aging potential of 7–10 years.
