Description
Terra Tangra Roto 2012 is a complex blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, and Mavrud, created in special 400-liter French "roto" barrels that are manually rotated during vinification for better development of aromas and structure.
The wine ages for 16–20 months in French oak and matures for 3 months in the bottle. The color is dense dark ruby with brick hues.
The aroma is juicy and multi-layered, with notes of blackcurrant, blueberry, cherry, walnut leaves, black tea, and spices. The taste is powerful and full-bodied, with ripe tannins and a long finish with nuances of spices, leather, and pepper.
